Paramount has announced that it is moving forward with it’s adaptation of Baywatch. The studio has been trying to secure a Baywatch movie for years now, and it’s finally coming together. A number of writers have already taken a crack at the script, including some comedy writers Sean Anders and John Morris, involved with We’re the Millers.
The studio as also hired Justin Malen to direct. There have been many developmental stages, mainly because of the script. At one point the action was set to revolve around a series of shark attacks, leading the Baywatch team to investigate a drug-smuggling operation.
It’s still unclear what Malen’s take will be for the remake, but he wants to keep the look and feel of the iconic drama. The movie will have a cheeky feel to it though.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is rumored to be taking on the starring role.. protecting the Santa Monica Shores, shirtless. Come on, those abs have Baywatch written all over them.
What do you think? Would you like a Baywatch remake? Should the Rock star in it? Who else would you like to see rock the red bathing suit? If we had to choose our perfect cast it would also include Kate Upton, Chrissy Tiegen, Taylor Kinney, Jason Sudeikis, Zoe Saldana (post baby), Sofia Vergara, and Joe Manganiello. Seriously, just picture them all in bikinis/shirtless and that is the perfect movie cast right?! Movie magic!

God Friended Me Interview: Violett Beane Teases What’s Ahead for Miles and Cara
God is rarely referenced on TV let alone included smack-dab in the show title which is why CBS’s new series, God Friended Me, stood out like a sore thumb.
Little did I know it was going to be the uplifting show that humanity needs now more than ever.
The wholehearted comedy/drama follows Miles (Brandon Michael Hall), an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he gets a Facebook friend request from God.
