WATCH: The Town of “Riverdale” Gets Even More Murderous in Season 2

Published

on

Riverdale is about to turn up the heat on the all the creepy murder in town.

And we’re here for it. ALL OF IT.

Jason Blossom’s death was gruesome but it was only the tip of the iceberg for the series.

Season 2 is bringing out murder for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It’s getting so intense, Jughead even introduces season 2 as the the season that “Riverdale’s innocence finally died.”

Um, what innocence?

His statement echoes that season finale cliffhanger – will Archie’s dad survive the gunshot?

The season 2 trailer that debuted at Comic Con set a much darker tone.

We see Archie, covered in blood, carrying Fred into the hospital.

“I came out of the bathroom and there was this man wearing a hood, with a gun at Pop Tate, and then he pointed it at my dad and fired, and then he…,” Archie says while trailing off, which leads Jughead to wonder, what he was going to say but didn’t.

Did he notice something about the identity of the shooter that Pops described as the “the angel of death coming to Riverdale?”

Is this mystery shooter supernatural? Is it Veronica Lodge’s dad – since Fred was sleeping with her mother.

That would cause quite the rift between Veronica and Archie.

And really, no ship will be safe with the introduction of Toni Topaz, a bisexual Serpent who befriends Jughead.

Of course, we can’t leave out the most deliciously creepy and “huh” moment – Cheryl comforting her mother who is all bandaged up.

Was she hurt in the fire that Cheryl started in the finale?

I also heard there might be an addition of werewolves so really, get ready.

Riverdale brings back the darkness and danger on October 11.

Cancelled or Renewed

You’ve probably heard friends mention Timeless in passing. If you haven’t, you need to get new friends (I kid, mostly), and you need to add this sci-fi time-traveling show to your “summer binge list” ASAP.

I expected to like this series, but I didn’t expect to be the spokesperson for it. Now, whenever someone asks me for a show recommendation, I blurt out the title with such pride and gusto, it’s like I’m personally responsible for its brilliance.

Fathers That Suck

There are some really great fathers portrayed on television. But just like in real life, there are also the not-so-great ones.

We’ve compiled a list that pays tribute to them all: from fathers who were never there, to fathers who loved their liquor bottles, to fathers who despised what their children had become, to fathers who loved their children but had a twisted way of showing it.
