Best and Funniest Tweets About Finding the ‘Perfect Lover’ on This Weeks ‘The Bachelorette’

THE BACHELORETTE - Ò1702Ó Ð After an eventful first night, itÕs off to the races for the 23 men looking for love with Katie Thurston. This jam-packed week will give the suitors a literal wake-up call, take Katie and one lucky man on a charmingly special camping date, and even beg the question Òwho is the greatest lover of all time?Ó But with all that fun, thereÕs bound to be drama as nerves unravel and Katie is forced to question who is truly here for the right reasons, on ÒThe BacheloretteÓ airing MONDAY, JUNE 14 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/Craig Sjodin) HUNTER, KYLE, CODY, JOSH, KATIE THURSTON, JOHN

With a very sex-positive Bachelorette taking the lead, it wasn’t surprising that the episode focused heavily on intimate love.

During the first group date of The Bachelorette Season 17, Katie invited comedian and podcast host Heather McDonald to help her find “the greatest lover.”

And while it made for some great moments with the new crop of men as they tried to prove what makes them the “perfect lover” (and they learned a lot that can come in handy in the bedroom), it was also a bit awkward for Mike, who revealed he is saving himself for marriage.

The first one-on-one went to Greg, who also got the first impression rose during the premiere.

Who Was Eliminated on The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 9

Welcome to Hometowns!

Katie set off to meet the families and loved ones of her final three men — Greg, Blake, and Justin.

Things went pretty well with Blake’s family as they liked Katie a lot and could feel the chemistry between her and Blake.

However, they were worried about the fact that Katie and Blake haven’t said “I love you,” especially since Blake thought previous Bachelorettes Claire Crawley and Tayshia Adams were once “the one.”

Justin’s hometowns hit a bit of a snag when it was revealed that his family couldn’t make it out.

His two childhood friends came in their place, which was only slightly reassuring for Katie considering a proposal is just around the corner.

Justin figured it might be for the better as they knew him better than his parents and have called him out of previous relationships.

Greg’s hometowns went well, but then they took a drastic turn when he couldn’t bring himself to accept that Katie still had other men.

The conversation took a really negative and unexpected turn when he told her that he loved her.

“You just completely dismissed it in my eyes,” he told Katie about him saying the L-word.

The next day, Greg came to Katie’s room where he acknowledged the emptiness between them.

Katie explained that she’s saving the big talk until the very end, but Greg didn’t accept her answer.

“I’ve reached my breaking point with this. I gave you everything, and I really hope you find something,” he told her before underscoring that he’s leaving the show.

Katie basically begged him to stay, but Greg was straightforward when he said “I’m done here,” and walked away.

So, technically, Greg eliminated himself. But will it stick? Will Katie go after him? Tune into the season finale next week to find out how it all ends!
