TVD S.6: Breakdown of New Faces
New blood is coming to town. There’s so many new faces coming to Mystic Falls this fall that it might be hard to keep up. Let us help you get a jist of whose who in our fave supernatural town!
- Marco James, The Client List, has been cast as Liam, a cocky but good natured young med student at Whitmore College. Yes, we’re still at Whitmore, which means more trouble! Liam comes from a family of doctors and you know what happened last time someone was introduced with some medical Whitmore history…. He will make his first appearance on the season 6 premiere and will be recurring throughout the season.

- We know there’s no shortage of bad guys in Mystic Falls and what’s a new season without a new villain right? Eureka’s Colin Ferguson has been tapped to play Tripp, but plot twist: he’s going to become Sheriff Forbes’ new enemy! According to TVLine, Tripp is the “the head of a community militia who will “do anything to protect his town.” Julie Plec also tweeted about Tripp’s visit to Mystic Falls saying, “He’s in town to give Sheriff Forbes a run for her money.” Are we sure that’s all he’ll be there for? Maybe Tripp will actually become a new love interest for Liz? We all know she needs that! Tripp will make his first appearance in the season premiere as well. In other words, what a hectic season premiere!

- And if you thought we had enough newcomers/bad guys, well, you’re wrong. Rounding out season 6 casting is Gabrielle Walsh, who will be joining as Sarah, a shady lady with a shadier agenda! Sarah will also debut in the season 6 premiere and Deadline reports she comes with “spunk, street smarts and a shady agenda.” The directors have been very hush, hush on the shadiness of her role though. Could she possibly a new witch in town? Or out of town, since apparently magic isn’t allowed in MF anymore. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Are you excited to see some new faces on TVD? I can’t say we’re too thrilled here at CraveYouTV. Adding all these newcomers is a sure fire that we’ll lose touch with our current characters. TVD has had some trouble keeping up with storylines for so many of the current characters and throwing in all these new guys will continue that problem. Last season we got way off track with the introduction or Markos and while I get that he gave a new and fresh angle to the story, I wish there was more regular character development.
This season, instead of focusing energy on a new bad, I want to see what happens to Tyler. I want Matt to get an actual storyline aside from being the towns only human. Caroline still has some loose ends, and god knows we need to bring back Bonnie and Damon. While new people are needed to stir things up, I just hope we stick to the roots and continue to grow with the main characters before investing too much time in others.

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?
On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).
Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.
And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.
“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.
Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.
“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”
The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.

Per TVLine, the season will consist of another 10 episodes!
For those who need a bit of a refresher, there’s plenty of drama that we’re going to dive right into. At the end of season 2, it was revealed that Bill is Isaac’s father (a bombshell revelation if I’m being honest), Noreen gave birth to her daughter and decided to stay in Serenity, Dana Sue decided to give Ronnie another shot, Helen suffered a miscarriage before cozying up to Erik and getting proposed to by true love Ryan, and finally, a bump in the road for Maddie and Cal’s relationship following his angry outburst.
