Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev at the Same Golden Globe After Party

Hollywood may seem big, but it’s actually a small town, especially during the night of a major award show season.

The Vampire Diaies co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev ended up at the same Golden Globes after party. Seems like no big deal? Well actually, it was because Ian was there with his new girlfriend and Nina’s old friend Nikki Reed.

According to Hollywood Life, Nina avoided Ian “like the plague” especially because the new couple was allegedly displaying a ton of PDA.

A source said the ladies almost ran into each other in the ladies room, but Nina seemed to wait it out until she knew it was safe to proceed. Throughout the night, Nina stayed surrounded by all of her closest friends including Jessica Szohr, Selena Gomez and her date, Zedd.

Unfortunately, her efforts didn’t work completely. Towards the end of the night the couple did come face-to-face,

Another source revealed, the encounter was super awkward. They all looked at each other and said “hello.” The source added that they “felt bad for Nina.”

I’m sure it has to be hard for Nina to watch her boyfriend of two years make out with her ex-friend, regardless of whether she’s over Ian or not. Bee’s these days! Although I really am still holding out for these two. And thankfully, Nina looked stunning at the party with a black Zuhair Murad gown with a plunging low back.

But, Nina didn’t leave the after party alone. Fans have been speculating that Nina is dating her new co-star Chris Wood, who plays Kai. Wood was also in attendance at the Instyle after party and he allegedly left with Dobrev. Even better, there’s a video showing Nina leaving with a man that looks like Wood and getting really close and comfy in the car. We mean, makeout in the backseat comfy. Are you ready to ship this new couple? Despite the man not being Ian, it’s good that their at least moving on right?

Meanwhile, things seem to be getting really serious between Somerhalder and Reed, who began dating last summer. Even though Reed’s divorce from musician Paul McDonald was just finalized, her and Somerhalder have already been spotted looking at engagement rings.

A witness said Nikki was pointing out rings for Ian and he was doing the same and even mentioned that the pair looked really in love. This isn’t Ian’s first visit to a jewelry store. Back in December, he spent over an hour looking at rings with Neil Lane.

The couple also spent the holidays together with Ian’s family and he’s been quoted saying “he couldn’t be happier, even if he tried.”

Do you think an engagement is right around the corner?

Watch the ‘Alaska Daily’ Trailer, and Get Ready for the Series Premiere!

Watch the 'Alaska Daily' Trailer, and Get Ready for the Series Premiere!

It’s time to solve a cold case in Alaska!

While promoting her new series Alaska Daily on Good Morning America, Hilary Swank, announced she is pregnant with twins!

The actress will be tapping into the role of an investigative journalist — one of the best, according to Stanley (Scandal’s Jeff Perry), who comes to her house to offer her a job in Anchorage. He shows her a photo of a young girl who went missing two years ago, noting that her death is a pattern of murdered indigenous women.

“I’m a reporter, you don’t need me,” Swank’s Eileen informs him, to which he replies, “You break big stories, hunny, we’re just missing too much.”

It seems Stanley’s persuasion works on Eileen, who is seen on a plane landing in Alaska as a voiceover explains that “Alaska has a funny way of revealing things to you.”

“Outsiders come to disappear or to reinvent themselves,” the voice continues, as viewers see a wall of missing girl posters behind Eileen.

We then meet Eileen’s new team, including Rosalind (Grace Dove), who informs her that no one is going to do anything about these murders so it’s up to them to figure it out.

But that comes with its fair share of issues, it’s soon revealed. “You show up and start asking questions? Be careful,” her colleague Austin (Craig Frank) informs her before she gets a threatening call telling her to go back to New York and stop being a “corrupt” journalist.

While we have no doubt that Swank will give it her all, but with two female leads determined to get justice, the breathtaking mountainous scenery, and the cold cases involving missing women, it does give off Big Sky vibes.

Check out the trailer below! The series premieres on ABC on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. ET!
