It’s time to return to Keyhouse as Netflix is opening the door for a second season.
The streamer announced that the second installment of Locke & Key will premiere this October.
No specific date has beed announced yet.
The second season will continue with mysteries and secret agendas as it introduces Josh Bennett (Brendan Hines) as a history teacher.
Fans have been patiently waiting after the series scored a season 2 renewal in December 2020.
The first season premiered in February 2020, but I’ll admit, a premiere date around Halloween just sounds much more fitting.
The series stars Darby Stanchfield as Nina, Connor Jessup as Tyler, Emilia Jones as Kinsey, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode, Petrice Jones as Scot, Laysla De Oliveira as Echo/Dodge and Griffin Gluck as Gabe, along with Aaron Ashmore as Duncan and Hallea Jones Eden, who have been promoted to series regulars.
Are you excited for the adventure to begin?

3 Comedies Renewed at CBS – Including ‘Ghosts’
Fans are going to be geeked about CBS’s latest renewals!
Three of the network’s six comedies have been given the green light for three comedies.
The most exciting renewals is definitely Ghosts, a single-cam comedy about a woman named Sam (Rose McIver) who gains the ability to see the ghosts living inside the charming old mansions she and her husband, a budding chef, inherited from her late aunt.
The souls of those stuck within the confines of the soon-to-be B&B provide plenty of laughable moments, and their shenanigans have earned them a second season renewal.
The Neighborhood, which stars Cedric the Entertainer, snagged a fifth season, while BOB ♥ ABISHOLA, a love-story between a businessman who falls in love with his nurse, will return for a fourth season.
The LOL comedies join the already-renewed Young Sheldon, which got a three-season renewal in March 2021.
While this is great news for Ghosts, The Neighborhood, and BOB ♥ ABISHOLA, it’s also promising news for B Positive and United States of AI, both sitcoms awaiting a verdict.
Kelly Kahl, president of CBS Entertainment, was in a great mood when she gave Variety this statement: “We’re thrilled to bring back television’s four most-watched comedies for next season, and I’m proud of the incredible team that maintains CBS’ position as the clear leader in comedy.”
Let us know in the comments below which renewal you’re most excited about!
