Are Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder Engaged?

Published

on

There may be a vampire wedding in the works.

New reports have surfaced that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are engaged.

According to sources, Ian proposed to his love during Christmas and she said “yes.”

The couple spent the holidays together skiing with Ian’s family and friends. That’s the same day her divorce to ex-husband Paul McDonald was finalized,  which might be why their keeping things on the hush.

InTouch wrote, “Nikki said she wears the ring on her right hand because they want to keep it quiet for now. They mentioned a June date, they are really excited.”

Nikki was spotted wearing a diamond ring during their first official appearance as a couple at the Golden Globes. Could it have been their first appearance as an engaged couple? It’s possible, however many stars get decked out in diamonds for the award show so this isn’t really that bizarre.

There also hasn’t been an official announcement from the couple and neither of their reps have commented.

Earlier this week we reported on the couples heavy Golden Globe after party PDA.

In December, Ian was also spotted looking at engagement rings with Nikki and even getting some tips from celebrity ring maker, Neil Lane.

What do you think? Are The Vampire Diaries actor and Twilight actress getting ready to tie the knot? Is it too soon? Should Nikki be jumping from one marriage to the other? Sound off below.

And stay tuned for more details as they become available!

'Virgin River' Star Confirms She Will Be Back for Season 4

And she’s back!

Virgin River fans will be happy to know that one resident is returning to the picturesque town for the upcoming highly-anticipated fourth season.

Annette O’Toole, who plays Hope McCrea on the Netflix drama, informed Twitter that she would be back for season 4.

Furthermore, she already wrapped filming on the new episodes.

“Today is the last day of filming for #VirginRiver season four,” she wrote. “It has been a joy to work alongside this wonderful crew. They wear masks all day; sometimes over 12 hours. I cannot say enough about their dedication and goodwill. I salute and thank them.”

Fans were relieved by the info as O’Toole’s character was noticeably missing from the third season.

She only appeared a handful of times via video chat as her absence was explained as her helping her 90-something-year-old aunt during a hurricane.

Fans weren’t sure if O’Toole would return because when she was set to come home, Doc got a visit from the Sheriff about an accident. Apparently, a truck hit Hope on her way home. She was in the hospital with a severe brain bleed and had to be put into a medically induced coma due to her heart problems. Doc was a mess the entire time, especially as her condition began to worsen.

At the end of the season, there wasn’t any indication of whether or not Hope would pull through, but her Twitter message to fans is very reassuring.

After all, we need to see Doc and Hope’s vow renewal ceremony!

So, what was the reason for O’Toole’s absence in season three? The coronavirus pandemic.

The show-runner, Sue Tenney, previously told US Weekly: “We were affected by COVID like every other show, and it was impossible for Annette to come and join us up here in Vancouver. Personally, I love Hope. I love the character, so we got busy in the writers’ room to see how we can keep her alive in the show, with only having limited access.”

O’Toole seems to be ready to make up for lost time. While she couldn’t reveal any “nuggets” from season 4, she teased that it was an “exciting season.”

Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays Mel Monroe on the series, revealed that she also wrapped on filming the upcoming season.

In a recent Instagram post, she shared a timecard from the show with the song “The Final Countdown.”

“That’s a wrap!!!!!! Season 4 Virgin River complete for me… For those that don’t know ‘WF’ means ‘work finished’,” she noted, adding, “Camera skills in the car need some improvement!”

It’s unclear when the fourth season will premiere, but it’s possible that we could be seeing a summer release. Last year, season 3 wrapped filming in December 2020 and made its way to the streaming platform on July 2021.

The series has already been renewed for a fifth season!

'Money Heist' Spinoff Focused on Pedro Alonso's Character Berlin is Officially In the Works

We’re just mere days away from the final five episodes of Money Heist (La Casa de Papel).

But if you’re in your feels about the series coming to an end on Friday, December 3, we have some news that might just cheer you up!

While we’ll be saying goodbye to our favorite Bella Ciao robbers responsible for the biggest heist in the world, Netflix announced a new series focused on Berlin.

The spinoff will be centered around the beloved character portrayed by Pedro Alonso.

Berlin may have died in Season 2, but such a force lives on in memories and flashbacks.

The spinoff, titled Berlin: A New Series, is set to premiere sometime in 2023.

While no plot has been revealed, it will likely dig into the mysterious life of the electric character.

It also provides some clarity surrounding the flashbacks about Berlin and his son in the first half of season 5 of Money Heist, which puzzled fans as they couldn’t figure out how they fit into the overall story.

As for Alonso, he’s “happy” about the spinoff.

“I am deeply grateful to be able to connect with people all over the world and receive so much love and such a memorable time. We started this series walking into the unknown and we have been winning ever since. You fans are our accomplices and thank you for that,” he said at a fan event celebrating Friday’s premiere.

Money Heist initially premiered in Spain and received a lukewarm reception. After it aired its final episode, Netflix added the two seasons to its international library, and the series took off! The series about Robin Hood-esque criminals became a global sensation spawning three more seasons sponsored by Netflix.

To this day, it’s one of the streaming giant’s biggest shows.
