Nina Dobrev has some advice for her character Elena Dobrev.
The actress told Buzzfeed she thinks Elena should, “Run. Like the wind. Get the f–k out of that town,” come season six. There is literally irony everywhere in her statement because when s6 returns, Elena and her supernatural friends won’t be able to return home to Mystic Falls without dying. Bad advice Nina!
The spell the travelers cast at the end of season 5 is still in effect, which means anyone who even enters the borders of MF will die a slow and painful death. They’ve basically been exiled from the only place they called home.
Executive producer Caroline Dries told Alloy Entertainment: “The anti-magic boundary will continue to play a role moving forward as we begin to explore this notion of what it means to go home again. As the story unfolds we’ll see the effects exile has had on everyone and see that everyone is handling it (and the loss of their loved ones) differently and personal journeys will form. Some will be fighting for a way to save their home, others have given up or moved on or found peace with it… We wanted the fallout to be personal for everyone.”
So what happens now? Will Elena turn off her humanity and just leave, especially now that her love Damon is dead? We think not! Knowing Elena’s strong character, she will fight till the end to win back her home. And speaking of Damon’s death….
There’s been rumors that he’s going to return as a human. While we can’t confirm nor deny them, it is for certain that we will be seeing more of our favorite Salvatore bad-boy. Paul Welsey gave away a big clue to s6 during his chat with HuffPost Live.
“Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries proved — forget that — all five seasons of The Vampire Diaries proved really, you can die,” [but] there’s an 80 percent chance that you will be resurrected,” Paul said.
That’s not hard to believe as everyone that has ever died in TVD has returned in some shape or form. But producers did say that whoever dies in the season 5 finale will not be returning. We thought we entered the era of permanent deaths, which is what made watching Damon and Bonnie cross to the other world so hard, but then this happened:
“Well, considering the fact [Ian]’s a series regular and a staple of the show, I would say he’s got a good likelihood.”
There ya have it! Ian is returning. Damon will once again live. Elena will not “get the f-ck out of that town”. And there will be some sort of time jump between season 5 and 6. All together now, WE CANNOT WAIT FOR SEASON 6!

WATCH: Freeform Drops ‘The Bold Type’ Fifth and Final Season Trailer
Raise a glass to the final season of The Bold Type.
Freeform unleashed a trailer for the final 6 episodes of the fashion-focused drama and things are heating up between old flames, while new ones are also on the horizon.
Kat is still trying to get over her problematic hook-up with Ava, while her ex, Adeena, is back in her life.
After a disagreement about children, Sutton and Richard ended their brief marriage. But it seems that all is not lost as the teaser shows them having trouble letting go (and still hooking up).
I have faith that Sutton and Richard will figure it out because they’ve always been #relationshipgoals.
Jane’s continuing to find her voice and is possibly, definitely developing feelings for a writer that’s “under her.”

WATCH: ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Trailer Focuses on Eleven’s Past
A new promo for the upcoming Stranger Things Season 4 is putting the focus back on Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
Netflix released a new video, which dives into Eleven’s dark and heartbreaking past.
It also marks the return of her “papa,” Dr. Martin Brenner.
The craziest part is that it seems like Eleven isn’t the only supernatural child in Hawkins. Do they have the same powers as she does?
Or is this exploring her origin story? A shot of the door marked “11” indicates that this may be a look into the past.
Watch the teaser now:
As fans patiently wait for new episodes — which were delayed due to COVID — a former teaser revealed that Hopper is alive and a prisoner in Russia.
How do these two things connect?
