Revenge S.4- David Clarke is Alive… Now what?
Our heads are still spinning from that Revenge finale! The cliffhangers (mainly the resurrection of David Clarke) are a real game changer for the show when it returns in the fall. Season 4 is literally going to be the season of David Clarke. But what does that really mean? Well, the whole dynamic is going to change and we will be focusing a lot on this man, whom Emily herself doesn’t even know anymore.
One thing they do have in common? The constant need for revenge. His return raises so many questions; How will their relationship be affected? How will she change as a person? And if her mother comes back, what does that mean for Kara and David? Will he try to make amends with Victoria? Will he join Emily in a further revenge quest? Will they even like each other?
Executive producer Sunil Nayar told E! News that introducing David as a “new character” adds a lot of story lines to explore. “You realize this man is no longer about forgiveness, that revenge has become a part of his makeup,” Sunil explained, adding, “I’m sure it’s going to be a polarizing decision, there’s nobody who’s not going to want to know where he’s been and what he’s about, so we can’t wait to tell those stories next season.”
One rumor circulating the mill is that Emily’s mother will make a return now that papa Clarke is alive and well.
“She’s definitely come up in conversations. Season four is going to be much more about the nature of Emily’s family as opposed to the Grayson family than it’s ever been before … She’s someone we’re talking about, but we haven’t figured out the stories yet, but we love her and we love the character. You never know, she could pop up,” said Nayar.
To be quite honest, I was getting a little sick of the Grayson family running everything. It’ll be interesting to see how the Clarke family deals with all this new info. David’s last memory of his daughter is of this little girl who saw her family being torn apart. As for Emily, she has clung onto this memory of her father being a brave and heroic man. When the truth comes to light, how will this impact both of them? Emily has said that she doesn’t even know who Amanda Clarke really is. Will she lose sight of her revenge plans when she finds out her father’s been alive this whole time? Will she find out he tried to kill Conrad? Whose known that David’s been alive this whole time? Has he been following his daughters actions and seeing her succeed in trying to take down the Graysons? Will their reunion be a happy one? It’ll be an interesting dynamic to see play out!

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?
On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).
Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.
And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.
“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.
Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.
“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”
The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.
