Sleepy Hollow S2 Premiere Date Announced + Scoop!
Waiting for the return of Sleepy Hollows feels like we’re stuck in the worst type of purgatory. But the wait is almost over! Sort of…
Fox announced that the supernatural drama is set to return on September 22 for its second season.
Meanwhile, the town of Los Angeles was being overrun by headless horseman in a season 2 Sleepy Hollow campaign, which then led fans to the spooky grounds of Forever Hollywood Cemetery, for a network panel and sneak peek season 2 screening.
The demon-fighting duo Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie were joined by executive at the Masonic Lodge for some Q+A!
When asked to sum up the premiere in three words, Mison replied, “All I could think of are swear words!”
Beharie offered up, “explosive” and “buckle up”.
Beharie also promised that s.2 will feature “more family stuff— you’ll see where (Abbie) comes from and why she’s a Witness as well.”
That might explain this sneak peek picture of a girl in pigtails we’re assuming is Abbie sitting across from what we’re assuming is her mother. Rumors that we’d finally meet Abbie’s mom in flashbacks might be coming true!! We wonder how she plays into the whole apocalypse story!
“There’s a big surprise in the premiere that (Abbie) comes to in Purgatory, and that’s going to play out throughout the entire season. We’re really going to get to understand her past a lot more. (We’ll see more of) the family dynamic as they try to understand her role as a Witness; what exactly happened to (Abbie and her sister, Jenny); how you become a Witness; and what that really means. She takes it very seriously,” said executive producer Mark Goffman.
This isn’t even touching the brink of what we’ll see happen when s2 rolls around. The first episode begins right where it left off leaving no time for Ichabod and Abbie to process what just happened. Henry Parish revealed that he was Katrina and Ichabod’s son. Katrina’s ex kidnapped her and Abbie is stuck in purgatory. It’ll be interesting to see her deal with being there, but even better to see how Ichabod continues trying to save both his leading ladies after he feels like he’s failed them.
Popsugar also caught up with the stars for some burning questions.
Mison admitted that filming the show did give him occasional nightmares, while Beharie kept her tough attitude stating they weren’t all that frightening. “We’re having coffee with this people in the chair” she joked! “That’s whats scary. You should meet these people,” Mison joked warningly.
As for IchAbbie happening? Well it is a possibility! There’s plenty for the IchAbbie shippers Mison teased. “You know there’s temptation in purgatory, right?” Beharie added! Uh.. I guess?

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?
On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).
Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.
And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.
“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.
Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.
“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”
The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.

Per TVLine, the season will consist of another 10 episodes!
For those who need a bit of a refresher, there’s plenty of drama that we’re going to dive right into. At the end of season 2, it was revealed that Bill is Isaac’s father (a bombshell revelation if I’m being honest), Noreen gave birth to her daughter and decided to stay in Serenity, Dana Sue decided to give Ronnie another shot, Helen suffered a miscarriage before cozying up to Erik and getting proposed to by true love Ryan, and finally, a bump in the road for Maddie and Cal’s relationship following his angry outburst.
