Who’s excited for tonight’s Finding Carter finale? I can’t say I am because I don’t want it to end. Thankfully, the show has been renewed for a second season, so we’re not saying goodbye just yet.
A sneak peek from tonight’s finale reveals some clues into Lori’s back-story. Not only is she a kidnapper, but she’s also a stalker. No wonder she was so good at stalking Max… it’s practically second nature to her.
In this clip, Carter stumbles upon photos of Elizabeth and David happy, with Liz holding twins. They’re allegedly taken by Lori… way before Carter’s real parent’s even knew Lori was her kidnapper. David seems confused and shocked that Lori could take these pictures before they even knew her, but he’s also a liar, so can we believe him? No. We know he’s got some history with the crazy-lady.
What’s crazier? Carter decides to help Elizabeth locate Lori. But can she go through with it? Is that why we see Lori in a really bad wig during the promo? Check it out.
What is your theory on Lori? I really hope we finally get some insight into her life. What motivated her to kidnap Carter in the first place? A miscarriage? Not being able to have kids? How is she connected to David? Were they lovers? Did she lose him to Elizabeth? Was she stalking her ex and his new beau? Did she kidnap Carter as punishment to David? I personally think she’s also involved with Elizabeth more than she’s letting on. Any mother would hate the woman who stole her child, but Elizabeth exceeds that hate. Why? Is David not that upset about the kidnapping because he knows he’s partially responsible? Will Carter realize her “mother” is mentally unstable?
My twisted theory is that Gam-Gam is secretly behind everything. Far fetched I know, but think about it. She’s hated David since Elizabeth met him. David was poor. Maybe David left Lori for Liz and her money. Lori got pissed, Granny got upset that her daughter was being used and made Lori stalk them and keep an eye on them… Until Lori snapped and stole Carter. Wouldn’t that be something? Whatever it is, the reason has to be legit and complex, to give this storyline substance.

‘Virgin River’ Announces Season 2 Premiere Date Just in Time for the Holidays!
Season 2 of Virgin River officially has a premiere date!
The Netflix drama will return less than a year after the first season debuted on Dec 6, 2019.
Fans can catch up with Mel, Doc, and Jack Sheridan on Friday, November 27th! If you think about it, it’s the perfect day for a feel-good show to premiere as everyone will be sitting at home stuffed after Thanksgiving dinner. And since Black Friday sales are going virtual to tame the spread of COVID, less shopping gives everyone ample time to kick up their feet and binge-watch!
Virgin River season 1 focused on Mel (played by This Is Us‘ Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse practitioner who moved from LA to a remote Northern California town who was forced to face her past and grieve before being able to call Virgin River home.
Season 2 teases: “Engagement. Babies. Heartbreak. Murder. For a small town, Virgin River has its fair share of drama — and Mel Monroe is often in the middle of it.”
Yep, we can’t wait.
Also returning for season 2 are Annette O’Toole, Lauren Hammersley, Colin Lawrence, and Grayson Gurnsey. Sarah Dugdale will join the cast as Lizzie.
While there isn’t a full trailer of the upcoming season, the Netflix November lineup video shows some great snippets:
