When Will ‘The Resident’ Return After the Time Jump?

The Resident Review No Good Deed Season 5 Episode 2

If you turned on the TV tonight hoping to catch a new episode of The Resident, you were in for quite the surprise.

The medical drama did not air a new episode this week, October 26.

That’s quite a bummer considering The Resident Season 5 Episode 5 — the show’s annual Halloween episode — featured a jaw-dropping time-jump that brought the staff of Chastain three years into the future.

Right before the reveal, the series also gave Conrad, his co-workers, and fans, closure to Nic’s death.

Since the series is taking a little break, we’ll have to wait to see what everyone is up to several years down the road.

When can we expect new episodes?

The short answer is that the upcoming episode will air after the World Series.

If you’re not a sports fan, you might find yourself wondering when that is.

The October 26 episode was preempted by Game 1 of the World Series.

The earliest the show could return is Tuesday, November 2. That’s if and only if the World Series wraps up within five games or less.

However, if it spans six games, The Resident will return with a new episode on November 9.

Basically, you’re going to have to pay attention to sports for the next few weeks to ensure that you don’t miss The Resident Season 5 Episode 6.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode to get you excited about what’s to come, although, I know you’re probably still buzzing from the major twist.

“Conrad brings a patient into the hospital who causes a high-security crisis; an MMA brawl sends a well-known fighter to Chastain and all hands are on deck; Bell and Raptor vie for the same position at the hospital; Leela gets a visit from her sister.”

Princess Switch 3 Trailer Released

Oops… she’s doing it again!

The holiday season isn’t complete without Vanessa Hudgens, who is back once again for The Princess Switch 3.

Netflix has released the official trailer and from the looks of it, it’s going to be filled with comedy, romance, and yes, three different accents and voices all performed by the talented actress.

Check out the trailer below.

Hudgens is once again reprising her roles as Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy, with a new addition Fiona, the cousin.

After the special guest, the Vatican’s Star of Peace is stolen, the two royal lookalikes need to team up together to steal it back. In order to do so, they enlist the help of their cousin Fiona who is also identical to them. The three completely different personalities work together to safely bring back the missing treasure.

Alongside Hudgens, the cast includes Sam Palladio, Remy Hii, Nick Sagar, and Will Kemp.

Netflix will release The Princess Switch 3 on November 18th, so set your calendars!
