TVD S6 Spoilers from Comic Con 2014 + Ian and Nina “Ship of the Year” Award
Here are some TVD spoilers from Comic Con that your probably should know about!
- Julie Plec revealed that there would be a 4 month time jump when season 6 returned. Everyones made some pretty big choices and their all trying to move forward.
- Nina Dobrev teased that Elena was not in a happy place, but has found a strange, confusing way to deal with her grief.
- Alaric has compelled his way into a teaching job at the local university and will have some romance on his horizon. “I think people do get naughty in our universe, and if anyone deserves a little naughtiness it’s probably Professor Saltzman,” Plec said.
- Alaric will also take on a fatherly role for Jeremy. (Sidenote: They’ve both been dead! HA)
- Ric will also be very jealous of Damon’s other bff and drinking buddy Enzo. Safe to say, they won’t be popping into the local bar for a boozy night. Who knew Ric was so territorial?
- For all the Stelena shippers, your boat has just been sunk! When a fan asked if it’s possible for Elena and Stefan to reconcile their relationship, Plec admitted the friendship between them has grown too strong and the love between Damon and Elena is much stronger. Most of the season will focus on Elena missing Damon aka the love of her life.
- Will she find comfort in the arms of another man? Like mentioned before, no.”If she did that, that would mean her experience and her love for Damon wasn’t real,” Dobrev said.
- Damon and Bonnie, who have now been dubbed Bamon, are now stuck in this mysterious place together so they will be sharing a lot of scenes! “I would definitely say you’ll see more interaction between them,” Kat Graham said.
- A TVD and Originals crossover might actually be happening according to E! and The CW’s president Mark Pedowitz. Does that mean a Klaroline reunion? If Caroline and Stefan cozy up in TVD and then we see her struggle with feelings for Klaus, I will be in vampire heaven!!! The Elena/Damon/Stefan triangle was getting boring, but Caroline/Klaus/Stefan plus a little Hayley? I’m all for that!
Reunited and it feels so good! Look away Nikki Reed cause Ian and Nina are back! Amidst all the Ian dating Nikki Reed and Nina being jealous rumors, the duo reunited to accept the “Ship of the Year” Award at the MTVU Fandom Awards!
MTVU hosted the first ever Fandom Awards at this years Comic Con and Damon and Elena snagged the romance award. So even though death has driven quite the wedge between these lovers, one thing is certain; the fans will never give up on Delena and neither should they! (They also shouldn’t give up on Nian, but that is a different story for a different time I guess.)
The duo reunited to accept the award on behalf of their fandom via video message from the TVD set in Atlanta.
“We want to thank you guys for all of your love and support of Delena,” Nina said.
“Our ship has been through some ups and downs and we are not sure where we would be without your support … so thank you and we will try to keep it interesting for you,” Ian added. Yeah, we’re sure things are about to get super interesting. It is TVD after all!
Plus, did anyone else feel like they were totally referring to their off-screen relationship? Nina said our “ship is going through an especially trying time.” We know that’s referring to the Nikii drama right?
Nina made Ian jealous by making out with the award, while Ian tried to stop her and she teased, “jealous? jealous”. Uhh we’re sure he was. Now, can you guys get back together already?!

Everwood’s John Beasley has passed away.
The actor was best known for his role as Irv Harper on the WB drama that aired from 2002 through 2006. He also served as the show’s narrator.
He was 79.
His son confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter noting that his father died in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.
He was reportedly undergoing tests on his liver, though it’s unclear if that’s related to his death. A cause of death was not immediately announced.
His acting credits include Early Edition, Millennium, Judging Amy, The Soul Man, and appearances on hits like The Resident, NCIS, and Your Honor.
As for films, those include The Mighty Ducks, Rudy, The Sum of All Fears, Walking Tall and The Purge: Anarchy, with his final role in 2022’s Firestarter.

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?
On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).
Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.
And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.
“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.
Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.
“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”
The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Series Finale Review – Four Minutes (509)
It’s official—we have a premiere date for Sweet Magnolias Season 3!
Joanne Garcia Swisher, who plays Maddie Townsend on the Netflix drama, announced the premiere date on her Instagram page. And we don’t even have to wait that long.
The return to Serenity will happen on July 20, 2023!
“Hope to see you all there! 🌸 ,” she captioned the photo alongside her co-stars, Brooke Elliott (Dana Sue Sullivan) and Heather Headley (Helen Decatur).

Per TVLine, the season will consist of another 10 episodes!
For those who need a bit of a refresher, there’s plenty of drama that we’re going to dive right into. At the end of season 2, it was revealed that Bill is Isaac’s father (a bombshell revelation if I’m being honest), Noreen gave birth to her daughter and decided to stay in Serenity, Dana Sue decided to give Ronnie another shot, Helen suffered a miscarriage before cozying up to Erik and getting proposed to by true love Ryan, and finally, a bump in the road for Maddie and Cal’s relationship following his angry outburst.
