TVD Spoilers: Damon to Return as a Human?

Published

on

Is it October yet? Is it TVD time yet? It seems like s6 is so far away. The cast starts production next month and even their having a hard time containing their excitement.,, except for Nina Dobrev. She’s too busy vacationing in St. Tropez.

Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy, told fans that after reading the script for the first two episodes, fan should be very excited. Ian Somerhalder followed in his footsteps sharing his excitement and revealing that the premiere date on his Twitter.

“So…Umm, you might want to Mark those calendars! #TVD season SIX premieres Thursday, October 2! #CWfallpremieres #TVDS6 Whoa, that was fast!”, he tweeted.

One theory fans have been throwing around the internet realm is that Damon will return as a human. Yes, let that idea sink in for a minute. It would be an understatement to say that the season finale was dramatic and heartbreaking. It was the definition of it. Fans obviously won’t accept Damon’s death and neither should the writers. But will fans like to see a human-Damon? I say hell yah!

Fans wondered how Bonnie and Damon would return to their loved ones. Would Grams save them? Would they only appear as memories. But the idea of having Damon come back as a human is completely insane… and so intriguing. Can you just imagine the opportunities for stories, drama and conflict? Imagine the existential life crisis Damon would have? Technically he has always been the “bad boy” because of his anger at Stefan for turning him into a vampire against his wishes. Well, now he’s human and what happens now that the baddest vampire is suddenly stripped from his eternal life and given humanity. Will he miss it? Will he struggle as Katerina did. Will he change and be different? We know being human didn’t change Katerina, or her sarcastic humor, one bit.

And with the love of his life a vampire while he’s human, will that change anything about their relationship? Will they still have such an epic love? Will he want to turn back. Look how many opportunities this minor change provides. I’d love to see this be the central arc in s6. No more dopplegangers!

He took to the directors seat during season 5 and hopes to continue for s6, and he also has some endings in mind. While this isn’t technically a spoiler for s6, it is interesting to see how Paul Wesley thinks TVD will eventually end. Let’s hope later rather then sooner.

Paul told Huffington Post Live “I think the [series] finale of The Vampire Diaries, whenever that may be, is that Damon and Stefan will compel Elena to forget everything that ever happened and she goes back to being a human and they walk off into the sunset, take off their [daylight] rings, and burn.”

It’s safe to say I’m glad the finale call is up to Julie Plec… I know she won’t disappoint us when the time finally comes.

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Published

on

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?

On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.

Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).

Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.

And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.

“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.

Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.

“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”

Watch the teaser below:

The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.
