The end is coming closer than we expected.

With This Is Us currently airing its final season, fans have known that they would have to say goodbye to the Pearson clan sooner than later.

But now that we have an official date, it feels all too real.

On Friday (February 11), the talented cast joined series creator Dan Fogelman for a virtual panel at the Television Critics Association press tour.

During the interview, they revealed that the series finale would air on May 24 at 9 p.m. ET.

Let that sink in.

Currently, five out of the 18 episodes have aired so far, so we still have a bit of storyline to get through.

As for what’s next for the Pearson clan, Fogelman didn’t count out a possible follow-up movie.

Variety reports that the creator noted that he says “no to nothing.”

“If we can figure out a movie and can get together with [the cast] again in a few years, I’d love to. I don’t know what it would be because we close out our story in the series finale.”

He continued, “I suspect that these six actors on your screen right now, as well as those two who are missing, are going to be flooding your TV screens and movie screens in years to come. I suspect that, when I want to do something again for This Is Us with these guys, they’re going to be very busy.”

For now, I’ll be thrilled to see Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Jon Huertas,  and Chris Sullivan in other projects. But hopefully, in the future, they all agree to revisit one of the most magical shows that every graced our TV screens.

It would be really great to get a sequel movie that focuses on the next generation of Pearson kids!

Dan also floated around the idea of messing with the timeline and doing a movie that looked how the Pearson clan’s lives would have turned out if “Jack survived the fire.”

The best things about it is that Dan revealed that the “president of NBC is literally texting me right now: ‘Yes to the movie.’”

what would have happened if Jack survived the fire.”

In the middle of the panel, Dan revealed, “the president of NBC is literally texting me right now: ‘Yes to the movie.’”

Mark your calendars for May and know that while it might seem like a heartbreaking conclusion, there’s always a potential for a future reunion!

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Published

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?

On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.

Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).

Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.

And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.

“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.

Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.

“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”

Watch the teaser below:

The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.
