TVD & Scandal Winter Premiere Spoilers!
We’re less than a week away from the return of The Vampire Diaries. Talking about Delena’s relationship is bittersweet considering Ian Somerhalder just got engaged to Nikki Reed leaving Nina Dobrev behind. But, let’s just hope things work out for Delena in some alternate universe, like Mystic Falls.
Julie Plec dished out some good spoilers to TVLine. Here are some of the best ones.
- There are still a lot of emotional obstacles for Elena and Damon to get over.
- Kai is one of them. While many people want him to stick around (because aside from being a crazy psychopath, he’s actually entertaining and quite charming). Will he though? Plec says only if they find a legitimate storyline that makes sense. Doesn’t sound too hard considering not much ever makes sense on TVD. (In the nicest possible way.)
- Sheriff Forbe’s sickness does bring Caroline and Stefan closer, but there’s still a lot of emotional setbacks, like her moms cancer.
- We can expect Bonnie to be back before the season ends.. think somewhere between episode 11-15. And being alone and abandoned in a desolate town has affected her. How will she get back to her old life, especially with Jeremy going to art school? Will Damon help her?
- We meet Sarah Salvatore. Unfortunately, so does Enzo, who follows Stefan and Caroline to Duke. What havoc will he wreck? Time can only tell.
- The death count is going to be high by the end of the season. Say what? Who can they still kill off? Really.
As for Scandal, the stars are teasing the “hugest” surprise. Yes, that isn’t even a word and you’d think the associates of Olivia Popes company would know that.
- Katie Lowes who plays Quinn says we’ll be delving right into Olivia’s disappearance. She says its “code red” because wine was spilled on a “white sofa that you know was super-expensive.”
- Quinn steps up running things OPA while Olivia’s MIA.
- Abby also gets to do some work on her old stomping grounds and she definitely misses it. Let’s face it, the White House is boring!
- And according to Darby Stanchfield who plays Abby, dedicated viewers from season 1 are in for a real twisted treat that will knock your socks off. She calls it “a real surprise to the original gladiators.” Fans have been going mad trying to figure out what it is and my theory is that Henry played by Ian Cusack will be appearing, possibly as someone responsible or involved in Olivia’s kidnapping. Wouldn’t it be great if he was a bad guy now?
Scandal premieres January 29.

When Does ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2 Release on Netflix?

Are you ready for Flight 828 to make its final descent?
On April 7, Netflix revealed the release date for the second half of the plane drama, along with a new teaser trailer to hold fans over.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2—all 10 episodes—will land on the streamer on Friday, June 2, 2023. For those that are keeping score, it’s a year ahead of the June 2, 2024 Death Date (so does this mean they find a way to beat it?!).
Netflix typically releases new episodes at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which means it will drop at 3:00 am Eastern and 2:00 am CT.
And according to the teaser trailer, things are just as ominous as we expected when we saw the final shot of Season 4 Part 1 of Angelina bringing forth destruction via volcanic fissures.
“The world is ending and we know when,” Josh Dallas’ Ben Stone remarks in the trailer as everyone emphasizes June 2 numerous times.
Here’s the full synopsis for the forthcoming final set of episodes.
“A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers,” the synopsis reads. “As Michaela [Melissa Roxburgh] grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke [Matt Long], she must team up with her old flame Jared [J.R. Ramirez] to find new methods to investigate Callings.”
The end may be near, but there’s still plenty of story left to tell—and we hope that they do right by the ending, giving a satisfactory conclusion to longtime fans who have rallied behind the series from day 1 when it was still on NBC.

Per TVLine, the season will consist of another 10 episodes!
For those who need a bit of a refresher, there’s plenty of drama that we’re going to dive right into. At the end of season 2, it was revealed that Bill is Isaac’s father (a bombshell revelation if I’m being honest), Noreen gave birth to her daughter and decided to stay in Serenity, Dana Sue decided to give Ronnie another shot, Helen suffered a miscarriage before cozying up to Erik and getting proposed to by true love Ryan, and finally, a bump in the road for Maddie and Cal’s relationship following his angry outburst.
